North Coast Peace Officer Training Foundation (NCPOTF) is excited and honored to host Craig Douglas of SHIVWORKS (aka Southnarc), and their law enforcement only rendition of EXTREME Close Quarter Concepts (ECQC) curriculum with an additional dedicated edged weapons module. The course is a three day (30-hours total) block of instruction.

A heavy emphasis is placed upon congruency of body mechanics between skill sets. Once the student’s skill sets are initially ingrained, the participant will be stress inoculated with force on force drills utilizing marking cartridges and protective equipment. The contextual elements of the coursework are driven and centered around a lone law enforcement officer who may find themselves entangled, standing or grounded with one or more opponents in a weapons based environment.
